1. Art in the Park at Elmwood Park Zoo
Elmwood Park Zoo will host Expressive Path’s Annual Art in the Park Arts & Music Festival on Saturday, Sept. 12.
The event will feature live music, vendors, food, animal greets, student performances and community art. The Zoo Brew Beer Garden will also be open for guests 21 and older.
The festival is included with regular zoo admission. Norristown residents in the 19401 ZIP code can attend from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for free, but registration is required.
The event benefits Expressive Path, a local nonprofit focused on expanding access to the arts for young people.

2. Veterans’ Expo 2026 in Oaks
State Sen. Katie Muth is hosting a Veterans’ Expo on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks.
The event gives veterans of all ages a chance to connect with dozens of local and statewide veterans’ organizations and service providers and learn more about available benefits and services.
The expo is free for veterans in Senate District 44, and lunch will be provided. Registration is required to receive the free lunch.

3. Broadway in Berwyn: Broadway Through the Ages
Footlighters Theater is presenting its annual benefit concert, Broadway in Berwyn: Broadway Through the Ages, this weekend in Berwyn.
The show celebrates the evolution of Broadway, from Golden Age classics to more modern productions, with live vocals, dance and theatrical performances.

4. ICE Nightclub Reunion at Paladar
Paladar in King of Prussia is hosting an ICE Nightclub Reunion on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 8:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. at 610 SOCIAL Bar + Lounge.
The night is built around the King of Prussia nightlife scene of the ’80s, ’90s and 2000s, with former Q102 host Diego Ramos serving as host and a live DJ set featuring DJ Sketch from ICE Nightclub.
The event will also include late-night bites, drink specials and plenty of throwback music for anyone who remembers places like ICE Nightclub, Be Bop Cafe, Peppers and Lipstick.

5. Retro Con Returns to Oaks
Retro Con returns to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 12-13, bringing a full weekend of nostalgia from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s and early 2000s.
The event will feature more than 315 vendor tables filled with toys, comics, games, trading cards, LEGO, wrestling collectibles, physical media and other retro finds. There will also be special guests, Q&A panels, contests, costumes, pop-culture vehicles and games.
Admission is $20 at the door for either Saturday or Sunday, or $34 for an advance weekend pass. Kids 12 and under are admitted free with a paying adult, and parking is free.

6. Local Live Music
Margo Price brings her Wild at Heart Tour to Concerts Under the Stars in King of Prussia on Saturday, Sept. 12, with Jeremy Ivey also performing.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Food trucks and a beer garden will also be available, and children 12 and under are admitted free.
