Several Upper Merion varsity teams are in action this weekend, including three opportunities to catch the Vikings at home on Friday:
⚽ 10 a.m. — Girls Soccer vs. Harriton
🏐 11:15 a.m. — Girls Volleyball vs. Harriton
🏈 7 p.m. — Boys Football vs. Lower Merion
Other Vikings teams will be competing on the road throughout the weekend.
🎨 Michaels Celebrates Its Re-Grand Opening
The King of Prussia Michaels is celebrating its newly redesigned store with a two-day re-grand opening Friday and Saturday.
The celebration includes food trucks, raffles, demonstrations, crafts, a bounce house, face painting and more. Customers can also receive a 25% off coupon during the event.
🎶 Concerts Under the Stars: Spafford
Concerts Under the Stars continues Friday night in King of Prussia with Spafford, joined by Morel.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Food trucks and a beer garden will be available, and children 12 and under are admitted free.
🚒 Cool Off With the Bridgeport Fire Department
The Bridgeport Fire Department is hosting a Spray Day Saturday to celebrate the start of a new school year.
Beginning at noon in the Borough Hall parking lot, the fire trucks will be spraying water for kids looking for a fun way to cool off.
😂 Catch a Comedy Show in KOP
Comedian Gus Constantellis is performing at the Stress Factory at Valley Forge Casino this weekend.
The Brooklyn-raised comedian will take the stage for shows Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m.
📣 Support the UMHS Cheerleaders
The Upper Merion High School Cheerleaders are holding a Car Wash & Clothing Drive Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Candlebrook Elementary School.
Proceeds will support the cheer program, including its athletes, team development and goals throughout the season.
⌚ Browse, Buy or Trade at the Philadelphia Watch Trade Show
Watch enthusiasts can spend the weekend browsing vintage and modern timepieces at the Philadelphia Watch Trade Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center.
Visitors can buy, sell and trade watches while browsing dealer tables featuring everything from pocket watches and vintage pieces to modern luxury watches, microbrands and rare finds.
🃏 A Trading Card Show Comes to KOP
Collectors can buy, sell and trade Saturday at the Apex TCG Show at The Alloy in King of Prussia.
The show features Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana and more, including individual cards, graded slabs and sealed products.
General admission begins at 11 a.m., and kids under 12 are free.
