Bald Birds Brewing has announced it will close its King of Prussia location at 250 King Manor Drive on July 31, just months after taking over the former Workhorse Brewing facility.

In a statement announcing the decision, the brewery said the King of Prussia property ultimately wasn't the right fit for its long-term manufacturing plans. The company said it will instead focus its efforts on its Audubon and Jersey Shore locations while continuing to grow its brewing and production operations.

The closure marks another transition for a property that has become well known in the local craft beer community. The building previously served as the home of Workhorse Brewing Company before Bald Birds acquired the facility in early 2026, with plans to continue operating both a taproom and production space.

Although the King of Prussia taproom is closing, Bald Birds says customers will still be able to visit its Audubon and Jersey Shore locations, where it plans to continue hosting events and serving its lineup of beers.

No announcement has been made regarding what will become of the King Manor Drive property after Bald Birds departs.

Residents who would like to visit the King of Prussia location one last time have until Thursday, July 31.
