Bridgeport Police are asking for the public's help locating a woman wanted in connection with an identity theft and access device fraud investigation.
According to a police press release, the investigation began after a Bridgeport resident discovered approximately $300 in fraudulent charges on a credit account they never applied for. Police allege the account was opened using the victim's identity.
Investigators say surveillance video obtained during the investigation identified Christina Jackson, 39, as the suspect. Police say Jackson was notified of the warrant but has not surrendered.
According to the release, Jackson is known to frequent several areas in Norristown. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Bridgeport Police Department at 610-272-5660, email [email protected], or call 911.
