Four public meetings are currently scheduled across the Upper Merion Area during the week of Aug. 31, including Monday night’s Upper Merion Area School Board meeting and three Upper Merion Township meetings.
No public meetings are currently listed in Bridgeport Borough. West Conshohocken’s calendar provides for a Borough Council workshop Wednesday if needed, but no meeting has been confirmed.
Monday, Aug. 31
Upper Merion Area School Board
The Upper Merion Area School Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Upper Merion Area Middle School, 450 Keebler Road.
The agenda calls for assigning $9.8 million of the district’s General Fund balance to four purposes: $4.6 million for retirement stabilization, $2 million for real-estate tax assessment appeal refunds, $2.2 million for technology purchases and $1 million for food-service stabilization.
The agenda also includes a $2,500 appraisal-services agreement connected with a property-tax assessment dispute involving PECO’s property at 318 S. Henderson Road, along with a confidential settlement involving an unidentified student.
Property-assessment matters and confidential student settlements have appeared repeatedly on School Board agendas during 2026.
Additional coverage of the School Board agenda is available HERE.
Tuesday, Sept. 1
Upper Merion Environmental Advisory Council
The Environmental Advisory Council is scheduled to meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The council regularly discusses environmental policy, sustainability initiatives and potential township code changes. Its August agenda included data centers, parking reform, electrification, electric-vehicle and solar-ready infrastructure, gas-powered leaf blowers, artificial turf and other environmental topics.
No agenda for Tuesday’s meeting was publicly available through the township’s Agenda Center as of Sunday morning.
Wednesday, Sept. 2
Upper Merion’s Zoning Hearing Board meeting, originally scheduled for 7 p.m., has been cancelled.
West Conshohocken identifies the first Wednesday of the month as a potential Borough Council workshop date, but only if a workshop is needed. No Sept. 2 meeting has been confirmed.
Thursday, Sept. 3
Upper Merion Zoning Code Workshop
The Board of Supervisors is scheduled to hold a zoning-code workshop from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. in the boardroom of the Upper Merion Township Building, 175 W. Valley Forge Road.
No agenda was publicly available as of Sunday morning, so it is not yet clear which portions of the township’s zoning code will be discussed.
Upper Merion Board of Supervisors Workshop
The supervisors’ regular workshop will follow at 7:30 p.m. in the same location.
No agenda for that meeting was publicly available as of Sunday morning.
Bridgeport Borough
Bridgeport does not list any public meetings for this week. Its next scheduled meetings are the Community Events Committee at 6:30 p.m. and Borough Council at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
