Inspect your roof, gutters, and outdoor structures for any signs of damage caused by snow or ice.

Check for ice dams on your roof, which can cause water to back up and leak into your home.
🚰 Check for Frozen or Burst Pipes:
Look for any frozen or burst pipes and address them immediately to prevent further damage.
🔄 Clear Vents and Exhaust Pipes:
Make sure all vents, exhaust pipes, and HVAC units are clear of snow to maintain proper airflow and prevent carbon monoxide buildup.

The MLK Day of Service Series: Daily Ways to Give Back
Care Kits for the Homeless: Small Essentials, Big Impact
Assembling care kits is a meaningful way to support those experiencing homelessness. These kits, filled with essentials like socks, toiletries, snacks, and hand warmers, provide comfort and dignity to those in need. Get creative by adding personal notes of encouragement! You can distribute kits through local shelters or keep them handy to give directly. It’s a simple, impactful act of kindness that embodies Dr. King’s message of compassion and service.
Recycle Your Christmas Tree at Heuser Park
Don't toss your tree in the trash, recycle it instead! Starting January 2nd through February 6th, you can place your bare Christmas tree at the curb for collection in Upper Merion Township.
Prefer to drop it off? Head to the Compost Site at Heuser Park!
