Montco Becomes First U.S. County to Win Prestigious Canadian Award
Montgomery County has become the first U.S. county to receive the Maple Leaf Award from Canadaās Consulate General in New York, honoring its robust trade relationship with Canada. In 2024, the county exported $1 billion in goods and provided $229 million in services across various industries, solidifying its economic importance.
2025 Projects and Openings in Upper Merion: Maurice Stephens House
The historic Maurice Stephens House in Valley Forge Park is undergoing renovation and is slated to open in 2025. Once completed, it will serve as the new home of the Valley Forge Park Alliance and include ANEU Kitchen, a cozy cafĆ© for park visitors. This restoration blends historical preservation with modern functionality, enhancing the parkās offerings for the community and visitors alike
