Ford Street Road Work Slated for December 16-18
Road work on Ford Street between Fourth Street and the Railroad Crossing/Vine Street will begin on December 16 and is expected to finish by December 18, weather permitting. Periodic road closures and parking restrictions will occur during the project.
King of Prussia Travelers to Benefit from New PA Turnpike Tolling System
The PA Turnpike will launch Open Road Tolling (ORT) on January 5, 2025, with the system initially going live east of Reading and on the Northeast Extension, including near King of Prussia. ORT will collect tolls electronically as vehicles pass under gantries at highway speeds, eliminating toll booths. Statewide implementation is planned for January 2027. Most E-ZPass users will see toll decreases or minimal increases under the new rate structure.
Timeās Almost Up! Today Is The Final Day To Enter Upper Merionās Holiday Lights Contest
Today is the last day for Upper Merion residents to enter the Holiday Lights Contest. Judging will run from December 16 to 18, with winners announced on December 19. There are 7 categories and winners receive a yard sign and online recognition for their festive displays. Donāt miss this final opportunity to light up the neighborhood and spread holiday cheer!
