Nine public meetings are scheduled this week across Upper Merion Township, Bridgeport Borough and West Conshohocken Borough.

The most notable known items are in West Conshohocken, where Borough Council could adopt revised data-center regulations, and Upper Merion, where plans for the second phase of improvements at Heuser Park will be presented.

Several other boards are scheduled to meet without publicly posted agendas, so additional matters could emerge as the week progresses.

The Upper Merion Parks and Recreation Board will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Heuser Park Clubhouse, 694 W. Beidler Road in King of Prussia.

Representatives from Simone Collins Landscape Architecture are scheduled to present and discuss plans for Phase 2 of the Heuser Park improvement project.

The presentation is the only new-business item identified on the board’s published agenda.

West Conshohocken Borough Council will meet at 7 p.m. at Borough Hall, 112 Ford St.

Council will hold a public hearing and could adopt an ordinance revising the borough’s standards and regulations for data centers in its Heavy Industrial District.

Council will also review proposed revisions to an ordinance that would establish a Front Street Corridor Conditional Use Overlay District. The agenda calls for possible authorization to advertise a public hearing on the proposal. The overlay ordinance itself is not scheduled for adoption Tuesday.

A separate public hearing and possible vote concern an ordinance that would remove the prohibition on parking along Spruce Lane.

The council packet also includes minutes from the borough’s Aug. 11 meeting and reports from the mayor, Police Department, Fire Company and Planning Commission.

Bridgeport’s Community Events Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Borough Hall, 63 W. Fourth St.

Four Upper Merion boards and authorities are scheduled to meet Wednesday.

The joint quarterly meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.

The published agenda includes a presentation by Brenden Walsh of Empower.

The Upper Merion Planning Commission will meet from 7 to 9 p.m.

No agenda was publicly available as of Monday morning, leaving it unclear whether the commission will consider any new or returning land-development applications.

The commission’s previous agenda included a preliminary/final land-development application for a proposed 2,100-square-foot commercial building at 158 Allendale Road.

The Upper Merion Transportation Authority will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Board Room on the upper level of the township building, 175 W. Valley Forge Road.

The Upper Merion Board of Supervisors will hold a business meeting from 7 to 8 p.m. in Freedom Hall on the upper level of the township building, 175 W. Valley Forge Road.

Business meetings are where supervisors can take formal action on ordinances, contracts, land-development applications and other township matters.

West Conshohocken Borough Council currently has the week’s most consequential published agenda. Its proposed data-center ordinance could be adopted Tuesday, while the Front Street overlay proposal could move one step closer to a future public hearing.

The Heuser Park Phase 2 presentation also offers residents an opportunity to see what the township is considering for the park’s next round of improvements.

Upper Merion’s Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors could also warrant attention, but neither agenda was publicly available as of Monday morning.
