Only one public municipal meeting is currently scheduled this week across Upper Merion Township, Bridgeport and West Conshohocken.
The Upper Merion Planning Commission is scheduled to meet Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Henderson Room of the township building at 175 W. Valley Forge Road.
No agenda was publicly available as of Sunday morning. Upper Merion Area Spotlight will update this story when one is posted.
The commission’s Aug. 12 meeting drew a large crowd, with several proposed data-center developments expected to be considered. A temporary court injunction prevented the commission from acting on those applications that night. The following evening, the Upper Merion Board of Supervisors voted down the data-center items.
Neither Bridgeport Borough nor West Conshohocken currently lists a public meeting for this week.
Looking Ahead
The Upper Merion Area School Board is scheduled to meet Monday, Aug. 31, at 7 p.m. at the Upper Merion Area Middle School.
Its preliminary agenda includes additional property-tax assessment matters and confidential settlement and release agreements between the district and parents—both of which have appeared repeatedly on School Board agendas in 2026.
