A while back, I had an idea.
What if we simply gathered a group of locals at a different restaurant every few weeks? No networking event. No agenda. Just good food, good conversation, and a chance to meet people from around the community.
I gave it a try. The interest was incredible. But after our very first dinner, I realized something wasn't right. The club relied on an outside platform that handled everything from choosing the restaurant to organizing the experience. While it worked, it never really felt like our Dinner Club.
So I hit pause.
Not because people weren't interested, but because I wanted to build something that felt more local. Now I think we can.
This Time, We'll Build It Together
Instead of relying on a company hundreds of miles away, we'll organize the Dinner Club right here in the Upper Merion Area. We'll choose local restaurants. We'll decide together where we'd like to eat. We'll keep it simple. Some dinners may have six people. Others may have twenty. The goal isn't to fill every seat, it's to create an easy, welcoming way for neighbors to meet while supporting the local restaurants that make our community special.
Want to Help Shape It?
I'd love your input. If you'd like to suggest restaurants, help choose dates, or simply be part of the conversation, join the Dinner Club channel inside our online community. As plans come together, that's where I'll be asking for feedback and sharing updates. And if you'd rather just come to dinner, that's perfectly fine too.
