A BLAST FROM THE PAST TO BEAT THE HEAT 📷 KOP Historical Society FB page | 🏊♂️Trying to survive this week's heat wave? The best way to cool off has a surprisingly deep history. The Upper Merion Community Pool first made a splash back in 1961 as the Lafayette Swim Club, once featuring everything from a high-dive to mini-golf! After nearly closing for good in 2003, this beloved spot was thankfully revived. It’s more than just a place to swim; it’s a piece of local history that’s still keeping us cool today.
