It was easily the petition on change.org regarding the potential closure of the Bridgeport District Courthouse.

Bridgeport district courthouse to remain open!

Just a day after sharing about the potential closure of the Bridgeport District Courthouse, it was announced that it will actually remain open. You can read a statement from the Bridgeport Business Association HERE.

George Searfoss Legacy Day is this Saturday

This Saturday the legacy (and birthday) of George Searfoss will be celebrated by the Love Works Resource center by providing community service opportunities in the morning AND gathering for a luncheon at Hope Community Church in King of Prussia. George, the founder of the Love Works Resource Center and former pastor at Hope, was tragically killed in a car accident on September 11th, 2024.

George’s daughter, Katie, wanted me to make it clear that this is open to EVERYONE, just as her father would have wanted it. You can click HERE for to sign up OR register for lunch.

Is an outdoor ice skating rink coming to the area?

According to the UMBOS, it could be here as early as this winter! The proposed location would be off of Swedeland Road next to Steelyard Sports and might even lead to additional rinks at some point. This news seems well received, especially from parents whose children must travel outside of the area to participate in ice rink related activities.

Let’s hope this gets done a bit quicker than fixing the 202 sinkhole fiasco 😉

After receiving a full medical makeover, he’s feeling much better and is ready for his next chapter. Dexter is fully housebroken, loves slow walks, and enjoys exploring the yard at his own pace. Being deaf doesn’t bother him one bit; he still happily plays with his squeaky toys and loves a good game of tug. He takes daily arthritis meds and eye drops, with monthly costs around $125.

Great with other dogs and best suited for older children, Dexter is a mellow couch potato who loves being close to his human.
