Sunday will be a little cooler at 82°, with humidity returning and a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. Nice weekend overall, especially today and tomorrow.

If taxidermy, skulls, preserved specimens, creepy art and bizarre antiques sound like your idea of a good time, have I found the weekend event for you.

The Oddities & Curiosities Expo rolls into the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center this weekend, bringing together vendors, artists and dealers specializing in all things strange and unusual.

There will also be sideshow performances and opportunities to learn the art of taxidermy.

🐠 Finding Nemo Jr. Takes the Stage Friday

A group of young local performers will bring the underwater world of Nemo, Marlin and Dory to life Friday with a performance of Finding Nemo Jr.

The show is the culmination of a summer camp program, with two performances scheduled at 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at Valley Forge Presbyterian Church.

Organizers say their Summer Camp Series performances have been popular, so advance tickets are recommended.

šŸŽ¶ Three Straight Nights of Outdoor Concerts in Upper Merion

It’s a big weekend for live music at Upper Merion Township Building Park, with Concerts Under the Stars hosting shows three nights in a row.

šŸŽ¹ Friday: Neal Francis with Pearl Charles — 7 p.m.
šŸŽø Saturday: The Dave Matthews Tribute Band with Rift: Phish Tribute — 7 p.m.
šŸŽµ Sunday: Christone ā€œKingfishā€ Ingram — 6 p.m.

The outdoor concert series also features food trucks and a beer garden, and kids 12 and under are admitted free.

Upper Merion Dance & Gymnastics Center is hosting a free family Open Gym & Movie Night this Saturday.

The evening starts with open gym from 6:45–7:45 p.m., followed around sundown by an outdoor showing of The Sheep Detectives. They’ll even provide free freshly popped popcorn and water during the movie.

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and favorite movie snacks. The event is free and open to the public, but everyone attending must pre-register.

🐾 PAW Patrol Pups Take Over Elmwood Park Zoo

Calling all PAW Patrol fans! Chase and Marshall are making appearances at Elmwood Park Zoo this weekend as part of a special meet & greet celebrating the new PAW Patrol movie.

🐶 Saturday: Meet Chase from 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
šŸš’ Sunday: Meet Marshall from 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

Families can snap photos with the pups and spend the rest of the day exploring the Zoo. The meet & greets are free with paid zoo admission.

šŸŽØ Pop-Up Art Show at Valley Forge

Artists, photographers and Valley Forge lovers are invited to the 3rd Annual Pop-Up Art Show at Muhlenberg’s Brigade this Saturday.

Rangers and artists from Valley Forge’s Art in the Park program will display work inspired by Valley Forge, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own photographs, drawings, sketches, paintings or prints of Valley Forge and Hopewell Furnace to add to the show.

Kids can get creative too, with limited art supplies available for making something on the spot.
