🍽️ Dinner Club Is Back!

One of my favorite community ideas is making a comeback!

The Dinner Club concept is a fun, low-pressure way to meet new people while supporting local restaurants. We'll pick a local spot, and anyone interested can claim a seat and join us for dinner.

No surveys. No complicated matching. Just good food, good conversation, and a chance to get to know (and support) your neighbors.

🗑️Bridgeport Reminds Residents of Trash & Recycling Rules

Bridgeport Borough is reminding residents that updated trash and recycling regulations, which took effect in April, remain in place. Key requirements include using approved containers with lids, bagging all trash before placing it in containers, labeling containers with your address, setting them out by 6 a.m. on collection day, and storing them in the side or rear yard when not in use. The rules are intended to reduce litter, keep sidewalks clear, and prevent damaged or missing containers. Get more info here.

🎃 Last Call to Join the BooPort Parade

There's still time to be part of one of the biggest highlights of the BooPort Fall Festival! Organizers are making a last call for parade participants, including community groups, businesses, organizations, families, clubs, sports teams, decorated vehicles, performers, and creative floats. The parade steps off at 4:30 p.m. during the October 17 festival, and float contest prizes will be awarded. Interested participants are encouraged to register soon before the deadline.
