Pennsylvania is proposing updates to its communicable disease regulations ā rules that govern how the state responds to diseases such as measles and other reportable illnesses.
The proposal is now part of the stateās regulatory review process, giving residents an opportunity to better understand what could change and weigh in. We took a closer look at the proposal, why the regulations are being updated and what the changes could mean.
šļø Four Local Public Meetings Scheduled This Week
Four public meetings are currently scheduled across the Upper Merion Area this week, including Monday nightās Upper Merion Area School Board meeting and three Upper Merion Township meetings later in the week.
The School Board agenda includes plans to assign $9.8 million of the districtās General Fund balance, including $2 million for real-estate tax assessment appeal refunds, along with another property-tax assessment matter and a confidential student settlement.
