Showers and a potentially heavy thunderstorm are expected during the afternoon, with damaging wind gusts and flooding downpours possible. Here's what’s in today’s Spotlight:

  • Our first ā€œCourts Reportā€

  • Housing report points to increasingly strong prices locally

A review of newly filed cases in the two Magisterial District Courts covering Upper Merion Township and Bridgeport found 76 filings from Aug. 10–16 — including traffic citations, criminal charges, civil actions and landlord-tenant cases.

Traffic cases made up nearly 60% of the total, but the records also included assault, theft and drug allegations, along with 11 civil cases and four landlord-tenant filings.

šŸ˜ļø Fewer Buyers, Stronger Prices in KOP

Buyer activity has cooled in Upper Merion, but the homes that are selling are fetching increasingly strong prices.
